" At last a football violence book with a story, not since 'The Guvners' by M Francis have I enjoyed reading a book on this topic. Out goes the invincibility of a hooligan gang and in comes humour and honesty.
Tommy is a character with a story to tell and although shocking and disturbing - it is compulsive reading.
The MIG's lose as many as they win but keep on tackling some of the better known hooligan groups in England as they fight as the underdogs week after week.
Surely this has to be the breath of fresh air to the genre that was needed and you cant help liking the author even though he no doubt is short of a screw or two.
I see a film in the not too distant future!
